*everyone welcome

We're so glad you got to join us! Thank you for choosing Vintage and Secondhand pieces over new ones and thereby supporting a small business.

A small business that is owned by me, Carolin. I am so happy to be here and at this point in life, where I had the courage to start my own little adventure. For years during and shortly after my studies, I worked as an intern and trainee at all different kinds of large conglomerates in quite diverse fields and departments such as media, telecommunication, beauty and fashion.

Most of these experiences had one thing in common: I felt trapped in predetermined structures and was fulfilling someone else's expectations. I sensed a lack of purpose, creative freedom and individualism. Even though I knew deep down that I was on the wrong path, I was still higly influenced by societal and parental visions of success and safety. Something a lot of young people in our generation struggle with.

With the keepers club, I am living my best life by combining the fields of fashion and interior. I believe that there are already more than enough amazing pieces out there that deserve a second chance. I believe that material things in general are overrated and that love, passion and freedom are the pillars of a happy life. But clothes and decoration are what let's us express what we feel on the inside, show who we truly are, even if that's someone else each day. It's not what makes life good: but it's what makes life pretty, and that's also good.

The idea behind the keepers club is simple: if you buy it, keep it. That's not forever, but for a timespan that lasts longer than a change of season. Hold on to it, treasure it and find new ways of combining it. Very often it's only a change in perspective that brings old things back to life. Be kind, be conscious and have fun with it. You're part of something bigger. Welcome to the keepers club!
